Greetings to you, Lisa!
Welcome to planDisney! Lisa, I must say that I
loved hearing that you fell in love with the
Disneyland Hotel! I'm a big fan of the Resort's rich
history, and I love how the Disneyland Hotel honors that heritage through its interior design and furnishings. As a child, I remember dining at the old Monorail Cafe and watching the Monorail pull into the adjacent station.
Fun Fact: there used to be a Dancing Waters show at the Disneyland Hotel long before World of Color ever existed! It was a nightly fountain show that ran for several decades.
I was able to speak to a Christine, a very friendly and knowledgeable Cast Member at
Reservations, to inquire about your situation. Once purchased,
Theme Park Tickets are nonrefundable and there is no way to upgrade them into a
Vacation Package. Our recommendation would be to book a separate room-only reservation at the Disneyland Hotel through your travel agent or on your own if possible. You would get all the
benefits of staying on property such as
Early Entry, proximity to the Theme Parks and
Next Day Package Delivery!
While you are enjoying the Disneyland Hotel, take a moment to stroll a short way to check out
Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa too! It's a beautifully appointed hotel designed in a Craftsman style with an awe-inspiring Grand Lobby. My kids and I love hanging out by the fireplace, resting in their lounge chairs and sipping hot chocolate from the GCH Craftsman Grill.
Lisa, I hope you are able to book a room at the Disneyland Hotel to complete your vacation! Throughout the decades, the Hotel has remained as charming as ever and I stay there whenever I can. If you need any further assistance with your planning, please feel free to visit us again anytime! We'd love to help!
Wishing You a Great, Big, Beautiful Tomorrow!
