Hi, On July 17, 1972 my wife and I visited Disney World on our Honeymoon. In July 2022, 50 years later, we would love to re-visit those memories. We are planning our trip but are concerned about this virus. What your cancellation policy. Thanks Ralph M.

    Welcome to planDisney, Ralph!

Oh, Ralph, I am so very happy you stopped by. You see while my husband and I have only been married 10 years, we did get engaged in front of Cinderella Castle at Walt Disney World. So I love the sentimentality of you revisiting for your golden anniversary!

I understand that you may be a bit worried about booking your trip, not knowing what the travel restrictions may be in a year's time. Ralph, I have found that Walt Disney World Resort has a pretty generous cancellation policy.

If you book a vacation package, including accommodations in the Disney Resorts Collection and theme park tickets, you are able to cancel your vacation package more than 30-days from check-in, with absolutely no fee! If you cancel between 2 and 29 days out, you will be charged a $200 cancellation fee and if you cancel less than 2 days out, you will be charged in full. Now Ralph, please note that this policy does not include any fees imposed by any third-party vendors and terms are subject to change, so be sure to read all the details when you book.

Ralph, if you can stay where you stayed on your honeymoon, that would be my first choice, but if not, I could not imagine anywhere more romantic than a stay at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa! Be sure to book a fantastic dinner at Narcoossee's before enjoying a nightcap at the Enchanted Rose Lounge

If we can help you plan any aspect of your golden anniversary, please come back here and see us!

    See you real soon!
