We are going in July for 1st time. We are going for 5 days and doing 2 days at theme parks and 1 day at water park. If we just get a base ticket for each day can we leave and come back (ex: for the fireworks at night)to that park?

Congratulations on your first Walt Disney World vacation, Jen!  I know you must be getting super excited! I am happy to tell you that guests are able to leave and re-enter the same park that they had visited earlier in the same day. You will not need the Park Hopper Option on your Magic Your Way Base Ticket in order to re-enter the same park twice in one day. In fact, my family of six frequently leaves the park to go back to our Walt DIsney World Resort for a midday nap or swim and then we re-enter the park in the early evening to experience all of the nighttime activities. I hope this information helps! Please don't hesitate to write me back with any additional questions you may encounter as your planning progresses. I would love to assist you in planning a magical first Walt Disney World vacation, Jen!
    Happy Planning,
