July 4th is blocked out for me because I'm an annual passholder. I'd love to watch the fireworks from the beach at the Polynesian, but I can only imagine how busy it must be that day. How soon should I get there to guarantee a spot?

    Hi Julia,

I love watching Magic Kingdom's fireworks from the beach at Disney's Polynesian Resort. You have the music piped in on the beach and an unobstructed view of my favorite fireworks.

If it were me, I might grab a little dinner or snack and head to the beach between 30-60 minutes prior to the show. This way you can enjoy some time at the resort and then head home. When we were there for Christmas one year, we watched the pre-New Year's Eve show on the beach. We arrived 15 minutes prior and it was fine.

It really is up to you how much time you want to relax at the Polynesian!

    Wishing you a magical day!
