Hello Emily,
Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney! I'm happy to help you prepare for your upcoming visit.
Annual Passholders typically need theme park reservations to enter the parks. The exceptions are visits after 2 p.m. on weekdays (plus weekends after 2 p.m. excluding Magic Kingdom Park) and good-to-go days. Anytime you find these magical
dates circled on the admission calendar you'll be free to enjoy the day at one or more theme parks without making a reservation. It looks like the next one is scheduled for Sunday, August 4, 2024, for all Annual Pass tiers except the Disney Pixie Dust Pass, which is blocked out on weekends.
When the clock strikes 7 a..m on the morning of a good-to-go day you should be able to request a
Virtual Queue boarding group, as
my pal Elaine confirmed for another guest here. You can only hold one Virtual Queue at a time, but you can attempt to join any queue across the parks, regardless of where your previous theme park reservation was made. If unsuccessful, you'll get another chance at 1 p.m., but keep in mind you must already be in the park where the Virtual Queue attraction is located to join at that time.
I'm eager to experience
Tiana's Bayou Adventure on my next visit, so that will likely be my priority, but I can never resist a ride on
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. I'm keeping my fingers crossed the stars will align and I'll be able to experience both in one epic park hopping day.
Where will you be headed on your next visit, Emily? If you need any suggestions for maximizing the magic please come right back to planDisney and let us know. We're always ready to chat!
Magic and memories,
Amy
