Hi Jodie, We are headed to WDW in two weeks with my MIL. She has health issues and has difficulty walking long distances. I have reserved a Royal Room St. View at POR and was wondering which building would be best for us? Thank you!

Hi there Nancy! I know you must be getting super excited about your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation!  It will be here before you know it!  I love Disney's Port Orleans Riverside Resort and actually stayed in a Royal Guest Room in January for the Walt Disney World Marathon weekend. Royal Guest Rooms are located in buildings 90 (Oak Manor) and 95 (Parterre Place) of the Magnolia Bend area of the resort. Oak Manor (Building 90) is slightly closer to the lobby, Riverside Mill Food Court and Ol’ Man Island. Oak Manor is also closer to the East Depot bus stop. You may want to consider requesting a Royal Guest Room on the ground floor. I would recommend calling the Walt Disney Travel Company at (407) W-DISNEY in order to add your room location request to your existing resort reservation. I would also notify the friendly cast member of your mother-in-law's health issues and the reason for your request. Although room requests are not guaranteed, I have found that Disney tries their best to honor requests when possible. I hope this information helps! Please don't hesitate to write me back with any additional questions that you may have. Sending pixie-dusted wishes your way for a magical trip, Nancy!
    Happy Planning,
    Jodie
