Jodie, thx so much for your response on traveling in Sept. vs. Oct.! A couple follow up questions - will we find that MNSSHP will be much more crowded during the Oct. dates than in Sept.? Also, will we still find it warm enough for swimming? Thank you!

It's great to hEAR from you again, Alyssa! It truly is a pleasure to assist you with the planning of your Walt Disney World vacation!  After doing a bit of research, it appears that September dates and weekday dates, with the exception of Thursdays, are generally the least crowded days to attend a Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. I have personally always attended Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party on a Sunday during Columbus Day Weekend and did not find Magic Kingdom Park to be overly crowded. During our visit in October of last year, we were able to enjoy the swimming pools at our resort. With that being said, when we visited in 2009, we experienced colder temperatures than normal and did not choose to utilize the pools.  I did want to mention that the pools at the Walt Disney World Resorts are heated year round. I honestly don't think you can go wrong with either a visit in September or October. I hope this information helps! Please feel free to write back with more questions. Best wishes for a magical trip, Alyssa!
    Happy Planning,
    Jodie
