It's always great to hEAR from you, Susan! It sounds like you are off to a great start with your Walt Disney World Vacation planning. We also stayed at Disney's All-Star Movies Resort on our first Walt DIsney World Vacation and my daughter loved the giant icons located throughout the whimsical resort! If you will have ample time, I would recommend visiting all four theme parks during your trip. As a mom of four children that range in age from seven to fourteen, I would definitely say that there are great attractions that appeal to each age at all four parks. Depending on your length of stay, I would also recommend planning a non-park day in the middle of your vacation to sleep in, maybe visit
Downtown Disney (which does not require admission), and enjoy your Disney Resort. I have always found when we visit parks on three consecutive days that is gets to be too much for my family. Unfortunately, the Disney Park Hours have not been released for the month of May at this time. My family enjoys taking advantage of Morning Extra Magic Hours, which offers a rare and unique opportunity to enjoy additional time in the parks above and beyond the standard operating schedule at no extra charge. Because you are a guest staying at a Walt Disney World Resort, you will be able to take full advantage of Extra Magic Hours. I would recommend planning your itinerary when the Park Hours are made available. Follow this link to view the
Disney Parks Calendar and check back periodically to see if your vacation dates have been posted. You will definitely want to spend a full day in Magic Kingdom Park. I am out of room for my answer, but please don't hesitate to write back with any additional questions, Susan!
Happy Planning,
Jodie
