Hi Jodie, hope you had a fun 4th of July :) We talked about having a resort pool days in btw 2 MK days for our trip. How do you feel about goto BlizzardBeach instead of BLT pool? Is the bus ride too much for our 2&4 yrs old? Are stroller needed at BB?T

Hi there Jessica!  We did have a fun 4th of July....I hope your family did as well!  I am a huge fan of the Disney water parks so much so that we have annual Disney water park passes. My personal favorite is Disney's Blizzard Beach for its unique theming, exciting water slides, and children's play areas (Tike's Peak and Ski Patrol Training Camp.)  I personally find the water parks to be a fun, yet relaxing experience. We usually arrive at the water parks close to opening and leave around 3:00 p.m. We took our twins to Blizzard Beach for the first time at two-years-old. Although we did spend some time at Tike's Peak, we actually spent a good portion of the day at the Ski Patrol Training Camp. My five and eight year olds (at the time) preferred that area and there were also small slides just perfect for the twins. We decided very early in the day to put the twins in life jackets alleviating any unnecessary worrying so that they could slide without Mama and Daddy having to rush from top to bottom of the slides constantly with two "little ones." You do see families with strollers at the water parks; however, I do not feel it is a necessity. The Disney buses drop you very close to the park entrance and the walking is at a minimum compared to the theme parks. To be honest, it may be a little difficult to steer the strollers around the water parks in places with steps and sand. I don't feel the bus ride would be too much, but I wanted to let you know that I have seen the Resort buses bound for Blizzard Beach also taking guests to Disney's Animal Kingdom park. This may depend on the time of year and based on crowd levels. Please let me know if you have any additional questions regarding Disney's Blizzard Beach or your Walt DIsney World Vacation. Best wishes for a Splish Splashing Good Time, Jessica!
    :-)  Jodie
