Jodie, we are debating between 3 resorts.A of A, Pop or WL.Wife will be 7 mths pregnant so worried about the extra walking at Mermaid rooms. Any thoughts? Just can't decide. Is it worth the extra $ for WL? Also have daughter that is 5. Go Bulldogs!

Thanks for the question, Jason! I have personally stayed at all three of the resorts you are considering for your next Walt Disney World vacation! Based purely on my own experience, I would recommend either Disney's Art of Animation Resort or Disney's Wilderness Lodge due to the theming and feature pools.I completely understand your concern regarding your wife's pregnancy and wanting to keep her walking to a minimum. When I stayed inThe Little Mermaid standard guest room at DIsney's Art of Animation Resort in December, I actually timed the walk from my guest room to Landscape of Flavors, the quick-service dining location, and found it to take approximately 7 to 8 minutes.I love the attention to detail found throughout the entire resort, dedicated bus service,The Big Blue Pool, and the whimsical Little Mermaid standard guest rooms featuring a privacy curtain separating the vanity area from the bedroom and mini-fridge.Disney's Wilderness Lodge is one of my favorite resorts based on the beautiful lobby, theming, dining options, recreational activities, being able to easily travel to Magic Kingdom Park via the motor launch (water taxi), and relaxing atmosphere. When choosing a resort,I like to consider our budget, how much time we are planning to be at the resort, which parks we will be visiting, dining options and transportation. If you are planning to primarily visit Magic Kingdom Park and go back to the resort for a midday break or nap, I would personally choose Disney's Wilderness Lodge for the convenience of this location. You may also want to determine how much time you will be spending at your resort and if the recreational activities and amenities offered at each appeal to your family. I do think your daughter would love The Little Mermaid standard guest room, but I honestly would choose Disney's Wilderness Lodge if it were me, and my budget allowed for the difference in cost. Best wishes for a magical trip, Jason!
    Happy Planning,
    Jodie
