Hi Joanne, looking forward to our next Disney vacation in March 2015 and using the new bands. However, using a Canadian credit card to cover purchases will end up costing more than exchanging money and using cash. Any suggestions? Thanks!

HI Danielle! Love that you're planning ahead for your Disney vacation! And lucky for you, your trip is far enough away that there's hope our Canadian dollar will bounce back. I'm not discouraged yet though, cause it's not nearly as low as it has been! I always use my regular Canadian credit card. I give it when I check in to the resort, and then everything I charge ultimately goes on it. You're right though, there is a high exchange rate charged. An easy alternative is giving a credit card at check in, but the day before you check out, go to the front desk and pay your outstanding bill in cash. This way, you can continue to enjoy the convenience of charging to your room, but the don't have to deal with credit card service fees.

Hope this is helpful Danielle! Write back with any other questions!
