Hi Joanne - you helped me before so I am going to continue asking you questions:) First question is What is the best way to book our trip (travel agent, website, other)? Also is end of April beginning of May a good time to go? (weather, crowds, budget)?

Hi again Suna! Ask away - I love helping you plan your Disney vacation! If you're dates are flexible, my advice is to start by checking the Walt Disney World website regularly. They post the current specials there, for example, right now you can get free Disney Dining Plan if you book before June 21, 2009. In addition, you can plan to travel during value weeks, when rates and crowd levels are lowest. I personally prefer to use the internet instead of a travel agent, but this often requires regular searches.

I always start by checking Expedia first to see what's available, and the I will check a particular airline to see if their price is lower. I'm not sure how close you are to a US airport. We often drive the three hours to Syracuse, New York, as the savings are often worth it. Last summer, my daughter and I both flew for half the cost of what it was going to cost leaving from Ottawa.

The weather at the end of April, beginning of May is great, not as hot and humid as during the summer. Easter is early in 2010 (April 4), but April can still be busy with spring breaks, but not crazy busy like other times.

Write back as you continue planning!
