Hi Joan! Love the panel. previously you said you and your girls have your own touring plan for BB. Can you share that with me? I have all other parks planned but not this one. Thank you!!!

    Hi Jill,

Thank you so much for your question and for not thinking I'm totally mad having a touring plan for a water park!!! My family don't ride the 2 big rides Summit Plummet and Slush Gusher, so my plan might not quite work for your family but I'm sure you could add them in if required!

Firstly, as with all the parks, we get to Blizzard Beach for when it opens. As soon as the rope drops we put all our clothes, towels etc on a sunbed near to the chairlift, we don't tend to use a locker as we never take anything valuable with us. We get straight onto the chairlift to take us to the top of the mountain, our first stop is our favourite Teamboat Springs, once you get to the bottom turn left and then walk through the ski patrol and then climb all the stairs (the queue for the chairlift will already be quite long) ride Teamboat Springs again (said it was our favourite) Jump in the lazy river for 2 stops, ride Runoff Rapids (we tend to do this at least twice) Walk to Downhill Double Dipper and ride. We then spend some time racing each other on Toboggan Racers and Snow Stormers several times before taking the lazy river (Cross Country Creek) all the way around. At this point when the girls were younger they would play in the Ski Patrol for a while and then we'd walk up what seems like a hundred steps for another ride on Teamboat Springs. We finish off with some time in Melt Away Bay, making sure to get some photo pass photos taken!

We normally manage to do all of the above in about 2 hours and have ridden everything we want to. As our plan involves quite a bit of walking I would definitely suggest you wear some kind of water shoes, we wear either walking sandals or aqua shoes and it makes such a difference as the ground can get very hot especially in the summer months.

I hope you can make use of my plan and adapt it to your families needs,

    Jo
