    Hi, Jo! I was just wondering, since you're coming from overseas, if you have a good idea of how to get your family on "Disney Time." Even though we travel from the US, it's sometimes a hard adjustment to stay up late and get up early to catch it

    Hi Chanin,

    You're right it is very hard for us to adjust to Disney time so we actually try and use it to our advantage. Because of the 5 hour time difference we always wake up very very early the first day, I think the excitement also has something to do with it ;) On that first day I always make sure to book the first Advanced Dining Reservation possible at our favourite breakfast restaurant and love being able to wander through the park before it opens. It's a lovely way to start the trip.

    To try and get ourselves on to Disney time as quick as possible we always have an afternoon nap the first few days and don't wear ourselves out, maybe have a relaxing swim. This way we're raring to go back to the parks to view the fireworks. This can work for your family too, just remember you're on vacation and not to try and do too much, there's always next trip :)
