Hi Jo, thanks for your help! My family arrives 6/29 for 7 nights. Staying at CBR w/ park hop. My ? is could we skip parks 1st night and just enjoy resort & DD and use park pass for day we check out (7/6)? Thinking we'll be tired after driving 2 days

    Hi Michelle,

Glad I could help you :-)

I thought my 10 hour flight was bad but your 2 days driving sounds very tiring and I would definitely suggest you take it easy that first evening. There is lots to do at Downtown Disney including one of my families favourite counter service restaurants Earl of Sandwich, or as you say just explore your resort. There is a fantastic new pool at the Caribbean Beach Resort which I'm sure your family will love after being in a car for so long!

The standard Disney tickets can be used up to 14 days after their first use, so you will be absolutely fine saving that first days ticket to use on the last day. You will probably get more out of that last day too as you won't be tired and it will give you a chance to revisit your favourite attractions!

    Have a great trip,

    Jo
