Hi Jo! We would like to stay in DWL in the fall, but want to get your advice first. I'd like to stay in a deluxe resort, and am not sure which to stay in. My next choice would be the Boardwalk. Could you give me some info about both, and your advice?

    Hi Katie,

Thank you for your question, unfortunately I have never stayed at either resort but I have visited them and I've also asked the other Moms for their opinions.

Both resorts are beautiful but for me and the other Moms on the panel the Boardwalk has the edge. It is so convenient for Epcot and Hollywood Studios and if you stay at either the Yacht or Beach Club then you can swim in Storm along bay which is a fantastic swimming pool, almost like a mini water park. Also the Boardwalk area is beautiful for an evening stroll or to make use of the restaurants, bars and shops. If you have stroller aged children the boats that go between the Boardwalk and the Studios are accessible without collapsing the stroller, perfect if your child has fallen asleep. Whereas the Wilderness Lodge boats often require you to collapse the stroller. But a definite perk of WL is that it's so close to the Magic Kingdom.

What I suggest you do is have a look at the information and pictures on the main Disney site, there are several Boardwalk hotels but you can view the Beach Club page by clicking www.disneyworld.disney.go.com/resorts/beach-club-resort and the Wilderness Lodges information www.disneyworld.disney.go.com/resorts/wilderness-lodge-resort You can then see the different themes of the resorts and decide which fits your family best.

I think you'll love both of the resorts but what I recommend you do is book a meal for one night of your stay at the other resort so you can see if you'd like to stay there next trip.

Hope that helps you make a decision and have a fantastic time,

    Jo
