Hi Jo! I'll be visiting WDW in Dec with family & friends, 10 people in total, which restaurants are good for group meals? I don't think charcter meals will go down well with some members of the group & I don't know what park tickets they'll have. T

    Hi Claire,

December is a lovely time to travel, all the decorations are so pretty and you get to escape the English weather for a while ;-)

As you are a party of 10 you actually qualify as a Grand Gathering, this allows you access to some special experiences, you can find a list of them if you search Grand Gathering on the main WDW site, with the details on how to book!

As for Disney's restaurants most if not all will be able to accommodate your size of party. I would recommend Biergarten in Germany at Epcot, I recently dined there as a party of 38 and we had so much fun. The food is buffet style and there is a dinner show of traditional German music and dance. They also have tables of 10 so just right for your party. Another good option is 'Ohana at the Polynesian Resort. It has a very friendly dining atmosphere and the food is delicious, also no park ticket is required to visit this restaurant! Lastly there are several restaurants on the Boardwalk near Epcot, so again no park tickets are required, it's also a lovely place to take a stroll afterwards :-)

I hope you have a lovely trip,

    Jo
