Hello, Samille! Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
The first time my daughter and I waited in line for
Avatar Flight of Passage, we were absolutely amazed by the details in the queue. When we rounded the corner into the final room, it literally took our breath away. We would soon discover that those details were only the beginning of the most revolutionary attraction we have ever experienced at Walt Disney World Resort.
When your journey begins, you'll feel like you're soaring through the Valley of Mo'ara as you gracefully dip and glide through a variety of terrains nestled among the beaches, forests and floating mountains of Pandora. Although there are a few "tummy drops" (as my daughter calls them), the ride itself is one of the smoothest I've ever encountered. Your "banshee" will take turns and twists, but the motion isn't jerky at all. It's an exhilarating experience as you find yourself immersed in this land's sights and smells and "rise to the challenge" of riding your mountain banshee during your Flight of Passage.
Make sure you take the time to explore the rest of
Pandora--The World of Avatar at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, too. It's a completely different experience at night, so I'd recommend finding a time between dusk and dark to experience the magic of the bioluminescence when the land comes to life in a whole new way once the sun goes down.
I promise you won't be disappointed!
Sivako,
Amy
