Hi Jennifer, and thanks for responding to my original question about reassigning tickets. My situation is complicated by having my wife's card linked to my account at the moment. There isn't a way to unlink, which I think is what needs to happen

    Welcome back to planDisney, Thomas!

Linking valid admission to each individual in your party in My Disney Experience is an important step in planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation. I'm Happy as the dwarf to receive and respond to your clarifying question about your specific situation.

You are correct, it is not possible to remove a linked ticket from your account in My Disney Experience. As such, your task is not to unlink the ticket but rather to transfer the ticket to your wife. How you do this depends on how the ticket is currently linked. Take a look at the ticket linked to your account that you would like transferred to your wife in My Disney Experience. Is it currently assigned to you or your wife? I know that may seem like an odd question, but oftentimes people create My Disney Experience account profiles managed by their account when linking tickets for their loved ones. If the ticket is linked to you, which my instincts tell me it is, refer back to Solution A in my previous response. Even if you and your wife are not yet connected as Family and Friends, those steps will allow you to send an invitation to connect that, once accepted, will transfer the ticket to her My Disney Experience account. If you would prefer to reassign the ticket online as opposed to in the My Disney Experience mobile app, the step-by-step directions are as follows:

    1. Click "Reassign Ticket" next to the ticket you would like to transfer to your wife's account.
    2. Select your wife's name from the dropdown list if you are already connected as Family and Friends or "Add a Guest" if you are not yet connected.
    3. Enter your wife's name and age. After the age is entered, select "Invite this Guest to connect" and enter her email address.
    4. Ask your wife to click the "Accept" button in the email invitation. If she does not already have a My Disney Experience account, she must create one before accepting the invitation.

Once your wife accepts the invitation to connect, the ticket linked to your account will automagically transfer to her account online as well as in the My Disney Experience mobile app.

Tech talk can easily get lost in translation, Thomas. I would love to continue the conversation until your issue is resolved, or you may choose to speak with a Cast Member at the Technical and Website Support number. Once your tickets are properly linked, you can proceed with making your theme park reservations and dreaming big for your Disney days ahead.

    Plan magic; planDisney.
