Jen, we had to stay in line a long time for the magic hour when we stayed at Disney hotel- would that have been avoided if we stayed inside the property at Wilderness Lodge?

    Hi, Suzanne,
I totally understand your hope to avoid lines while visiting Walt Disney World Resort! I have found my family is a bit immune to it because we have a tendency to visit during some of the busiest times at the parks - between Christmas and New Year's.

If you are looking to avoid a line before early Extra Magic Hours, I would recommend arriving a little later than the start of that extra hour created just for visitors who are staying at Disney resorts. You may not have as much time to visit as many rides, but you can avoid that initial rush to get in.

I absolutely love staying at Disney's Wilderness Lodge, but taking the water ferry over to Magic Kingdom Park will still require you to enter the park from the main entrance.

I hope that helps you with your park planning!
