Jen, what hearty snacks do you recommend to hold our hungry tween over between meals? We will have a dining plan with snacks included.

    Hi, Suzanne!

I'm glad I have a chance to talk about snacks using the Disney Dining Plan. My family has used it many times. Snacks come in handy, especially when you have a big gap of time in between meals.

You can identify a food item that falls under the Disney Dining Plan snack category when you see a DDP logo. My favorites are the traditional ice cream and pretzel options. But there are a few heartier ones: Check out these delicious snack options in Disney's Animal Kingdom. Also, try the counter service chicken fried rice at Yak and Yeti. My favorite hearty snack at the Magic Kingdom is the funnel cake at Sleepy Hollow in Liberty Square. You'll find an amazing collection of snack options around the World Showcase in Epcot. My favorite hearty snack in Hollywood Studios is many of the options at Starring Rolls Cafe.

Enjoy exploring all the snack options and have a great visit to Walt Disney World. I look forward to helping with any other questions you send my way!
