For Jedi Training Academy sign-up, I keep seeing the advice to show up 30 minutes before park opening and proceed immediately to the sign-up area. My question is, do they let you into the park early if you tell a cast member you are there to sign up?

    Hello Robyn,

The Force is strong in your family and arriving early for Jedi Training Academy at Disney's Hollywood Studios is wise, especially on more high volume days. On occasion, Disney's Hollywood Studios has opened a little bit earlier to allow Guests in but there is no way of knowing when that will happen. From my past experiences, with my young and not-so young Jedi Knights, arriving 30 minutes early is ample enough time. We, typically, pack a light breakfast to snack on in line and as soon as the park opens we are ready to go. Cast Members are stationed throughout the park to guide you and your Padawan(s) towards ABC Sound Studios, where registration is located, but be sure to bring them along with you. All young Jedi Knight hopefuls need to be present to sign up.

May The Force Be With You and if I can be of any further pixie dusted assistance feel free to ask.

Meet the Panelist: Amy, Virginia

I am a Dreamer who has always believed dreams are meant to be the path to your future. Walt Disney, I believe, felt the same way, "All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them." Disney has always been proof that endless imagination and the passion to make them come to fruition is possible. I will never be to old for Disney, it is home to all of us Dreamers.
