on January 29th what rides or attractions will NOT be in operation

Hey there, hi there, Dale! Welcome to planDisney. We are so excited that you are just days away from your upcoming visit!

I know you will probably be working on all the final details as your visit approaches and attractions are an important part of all that planning. It is common for attractions to be closed for refurbishment around this time after the holidays. The best place to look to find this would be on the Hours & Events Calendar. If you toggle to the Day View calendar and select your date, you will be able to scroll down to each park and see which rides are currently listed as "Closed for Refurbishment". You will also be able to view this in the Disneyland app. On the main page, you can scroll to see the park hours where you will tap on "Today's Showtimes". This will allow you to select an upcoming day on the calendar and will also include the "Closed for Refurbishment".

While this list can change, currently I see Grizzly River Run on the list for Disney California Adventure Park. Over at Disneyland Park, The Disneyland Story presenting Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln, Disneyland Railroad, Disneyland Monorail, and "it's a small world" are on the list.

Luckily for you, Lunar New Year festivities have taken over Disney California so there's plenty to see and do even with a few closures. I know Disneyland is working hard to have Disneyland Resort shining bright for the upcoming 70th anniversary!

Dale, thanks so much for stopping by! We'll see ya real soon!

Meet the Panelist: Carrie, California

Well hello there, friend! I'm Carrie, a work-from-home mom and military wife who currently calls sunny San Diego home. You'll find my family in the parks braving drops and coasters to work up our appetite to take as many snack breaks as we can. While Disneyland is our home away from home, we love trying to make a Walt Disney World Resort vacation happen at least once a year now too. All my friends know I'm the go-to for Disney advice, so I'm here to help you plan and experience the magic on your visit! Learn More About Carrie
