    Hi, We are going in January for our kids first trip. My mom decided to join after I booked our package. I was told we could just tell them at check-in that she would be staying with us for 2 nights. Will she revieve a magic band for a room key?? Day pass.

    Hi Stephanie and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I’m so excited to hear that your Mouseketeers will be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort for the first time! You’re all going to have such an amazing trip!

    Your mom can absolutely join you and receive a MagicBand for a room key. Just visit the front desk, or check-in area of your resort, to ask a Cast Member for a band. While you’re there, make sure to ask for some complimentary celebratory buttons declaring that your kiddos are celebrating their first visit. Mickey and his pals love to give extra attention to guests celebrating special occasions! 

    Stephanie, while your mom can enjoy all of the activities and amenities your Disney Resort hotel has to offer, in order to visit the theme parks, she must have a valid theme park ticket. If she is also a Florida Resident, there are Special Offers she can enjoy when it comes to theme park ticket prices. Just make sure to visit the Special Tickets, Passes and Offers for Florida Residents web page. 

    As you continue putting those finishing touches on your magical visit, you may want to consider adding Memory Maker to your vacation package. This product gives you unlimited digital downloads of all the Disney PhotoPass pictures snapped of you and your family during your visit! It’s a great way to preserve all those sweet memories for years to come!
