January 2 is my first day to go to a WDW park-- will it be very difficult and time-consuming to pick up tickets at a will-call window? Also, can online ticket vendors or vendors around Orlando be trusted?

    Hi Lauren,

How exciting! You are just a few weeks away from your Disney World vacation!

While the ticket windows at the DIsney parks do stay busy, you will be happy to know that I have never waited an excessively long time for help. There always seems to be numerous windows open and plenty of Cast Members available to keep the line moving along quickly. I would not be concerned about the wait, but just as a side note, it does tend to be the most crowded just before the park opens. If possible arrive a little early or wait until slightly after park open to minimize your wait.

I have not had any personal experience with local ticket vendors in the Orlando area, but have been warned a few times of concerns over problems with the tickets. Personally I choose to only purchase my tickets through Disney World itself.

Hope you have a magical time!
