    going in jan09. when i tried to book dining they said they need my resort con.#. I always book with aaa & cant book until prices are released. How can I still book dining without con. #? thanks for the help!

    You should not need to have your resort confirmation number to book any dining reservations 180 days in advance.

    There is a lot to learn about WDW not only for Disney guests, but also for Disney cast members. My experience has been that not every Disney reservationist has the same level of knowledge or expertise. If you think you're not getting the correct answer about something at WDW, it often helps to call back and speak with another cast member. I'm confident if you call back you'll find a cast member who can help you make dining reservations without a resort confirmation number. Or, if you are asked for a resort confirmation number, just say that you don't have one yet and want to proceed with making your reservations. This should also work.
