Going in Jan 2011 stayed at contemporary this year, loved it, but should we try the Polynesian this time? Husband insists on monrail resort for convience, have DDs 5&2 at time of visit. Thanks I love the panel!!! :o)

Hi, Stacie!  I love the convenience of the monorail resorts!  It's so nice to have the option to just hop on the monorail in the afternoon if your little princesses need to retire to the royal hotel room for a regal snooze!

I like the Polynesian because of the lush, tropical landscape.  It's almost like two vacations in one!  You already know you are going to Walt Disney World, but as an added bonus, it almost feels like you've gone to a fabulous tropical destination.

You'll find the room size very similar to the Contemporary, but the decor is definitely different.  It keeps very much with the tropical theme.

You can enjoy a delicious breakfast at 'Ohana, where your girls might get to meet Lilo and Stitch, who currently appear at the breakfast (characters are subject to change); or you can head to Kona Cafe, a Moms Panel favorite for a breakfast get together!  For a quick bite, you can enjoy Captain Cook's Snack Company.  The Polynesian is also one of only two places at Walt Disney World where you can get the famous Dole Whip.

My family has enjoyed several stays at the Polynesian.  We find it a peaceful retreat from the hustle of the theme parks.

    Have a great vacation!
