Hiya, pal.
Welcome to planDisney! Your 2023 vacation to The Most Magical Place on Earth may seem (Buzz) Lightyears away, but it will be here before you know it! I’m sure you are dreaming of all the fun you’ll have on your trip in the meantime, and I can’t blame you. There are
so many things to see, do, and eat … the possibilities are endless!
The
Park Hopper Option is a great way to maximize your time to fit in as much pixie dust as possible. It allows you to visit more than one theme park in a day (you could even visit all four parks in a day if you wanted). If you decide to add the Park Hopper Option onto your
theme park ticket, it should not affect everyone else in your traveling party. You can easily modify your ticket online in your
My Disney Experience account ahead of your arrival. Once you are signed into your account, place your cursor over “My Disney Experience” on the upper right-hand side of the screen and select “My Plans” from the options that appear. Scroll down to the “My Plans, Reservations and Tickets” section and click on “Tickets & Memory Maker.” Click the “Change Ticket” option next to your theme park ticket to add on the Park Hopper Option. If you do not see the option to modify your ticket online, the friendly Ticket Services Cast Members can assist you. Just give them a ring at (407) 560-2428. Alternatively, you can add the Park Hopper Option onto your ticket at any theme park ticket window when you arrive. Keep in mind, you will have to pay for any increase in ticket pricing either way, and the Park Hopper option will be for the length of your ticket (not just specific days).
Now, if you originally booked your
Disney Resorts Collection hotel reservation and theme park tickets together as a
vacation package, everyone staying in the room must have the same ticket type, number of theme park days on their tickets, and promotions applied. This means if you add the Park Hopper onto your ticket, anyone else staying in the same room with you must also add it on. As long as you purchased your tickets and booked your Disney Resort hotel reservation separately, you should be fine to follow the steps I mentioned above.
Remember, you won’t be able to park hop to another park until 2:00 p.m. and after you’ve already entered the theme park your
Disney Park Pass reservation is for that day (subject to change). I hope this information helps in your decision making. If you have further planning questions, please don’t hesitate to stop back by
planDisney. We’d be happy to help!
You’ve got a friend in me,
Alyssa
