On Jan 26 what is the earliest I can get into the parking lot at Hollywood studios? I want to get there as soon as as I can for the opening.

Hello there, Randy! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks for stopping by and allowing us to help you plan your vacation to Walt Disney World Resort!

As a fellow earlier riser, this is actually something I have questioned during my own vacations! Standard parking lots for the theme parks open approximately one hour prior to the official park opening time. You can view each park's specific opening time on the Park Hours web-page. It looks like Disney's Hollywood Studios will be opening at 8:00 am on January 26th so you can expect the parking lot to open at around 7:00 am.

If you are interested in experiencing Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance during your visit, be sure to download the My Disney Experience app prior to your arrival. Once you and all members of your party have entered Disney's Hollywood Studios, you will then be able to join a Boarding Group for this specific attraction. Boarding Groups will then be called throughout the day to experience Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. During our recent visit, my family found this entire process quite smooth and were able to take in all of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge while we waiting for our call to the Resistance!

I hope this information assists you in planning your visit to Walt Disney World Resort! Be sure to let us know if we can answer any other questions for you!
