    Jan 16 breakfast at Tusker house and comes with ROL 1st viewing tickets. My question is the timing for my dinner reservation at Rainforest Cafe is 5 pm. From the calendar it looks like 1st viewing is 6: 30 pm. Do you know if this schedule will work?

    Hi Michelle!  Thank you for bringing another great question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

    It looks like you have a wonderful day planned at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park!  Beginning your day with a yummy breakfast at Tusker House Restaurant and capping it off with the beautiful Rivers of Light: We Are One sounds like a great day to me.

    I'll be honest with you; I think the timing for a 5:00 pm dining reservation and the 6:30 show for Rivers of Light: We Are One is a little tight.  Guests with reserved seating for the show are advised to arrive 15 to 35 minutes prior to showtime.  Guests who select dinner for their Rivers of Light: We Are One Dining Package must arrive to dine at least 2.5 hours prior to showtime to allow enough time to enjoy their meal and make their way to the theater for the show.  If you are not seated immediately for your dinner at Rainforest Cafe, it might be cutting it too close.  I don't want you to be rushed and too stressed to enjoy your dinner!

    I recommend calling the Disney Dining line at (407) WDW-DINE to ask if you can change your dining package voucher to the second show, or if you can move your Rainforest Cafe reservation earlier, perhaps 4:00 pm.  If neither one of those options will work, if it were me, I would cancel the Rainforest Cafe reservation and have dinner at a Quick-Service location, no reservations necessary!  There are several wonderful Quick-Service options at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, including Flame Tree Barbecue and Satu'li Canteen.  I personally prefer the food at either of these locations over Rainforest Cafe.  I have attached this list of Disney's Animal Kingdom dining locations in case your Rainforest Cafe dinner doesn't work out.
