I'will be at Disney resort oct 2011 concerned about walk between pirates room at CBR and the main dinning area should I pick a perfered room? Should I look at PORS or POFQ for less walk to main dinning & more food choices at Down Town Disney?

Hi Dwain! There is no question that the Caribbean Beach Resort is a huge resort. There are buses that will take you to the main hall, but if this is an issue for you, you might prefer the location offered by a preferred room.

Port Orleans French Quarter and Riverside are also beautiful moderate resorts. What I love about them is the boat ride  to Downtown Disney. It's a beautiful and relaxing alternative to the buses. We tend to spend a fair bit of time at Downtown Disney, and if this will be your situation, then you might want to consider Port Orleans. At Downtown Disney, in addition to shops and entertainment, you will find a wide variety of both counter service and full service restaurant options.

I hope this information helps you in making your decision. Write us back if you have any other questions!
