What items are you allowed to bring in to Disney’s water parks

Cannonball! Welcome to planDisney, Laura, and thanks for this great question. It sounds like you're heading to Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park soon. This is the perfect time of year to cool off in Castaway Creek, so let's help you pack for a day of splashtastic fun.

My must-have items for a day at the water park include sunscreen, hats, water shoes, sunglasses, and a change of clothes. And did I mention sunscreen? I've also taken a cooler with snacks, but please check out the size guidelines for backpacks and coolers on the Property Rules page. Remember that glass containers, alcoholic beverages, and loose ice are on the prohibited list, but be sure to bring along water bottles. And sunscreen. Don't forget the sunscreen.

Complimentary life vests are available for guests from infants to adults. You can also bring your own flotation devices and goggles for little ones as long as they are US Coast Guard approved. As for the lazy river, flotation rings are provided for that leisurely float.

If you forget anything, Singapore Sal's sells towels, sunglasses, hats, shoes, and, you guessed it, sunscreen. And if you opt to leave the cooler at home, there are several options for meals and snacks. The Impossible Island Burger with pineapple relish looks like a tropical dream at Leaning Palms!

Laura, I hope you have a fabulous time diving into all the fun at Typhoon Lagoon! If you need information about any specific items you can bring, please stop by planDisney anytime. And remember to pack sunscreen!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
