Hi, Nadine! Christmas Eve and Christmas Day are both really busy, high crowd days at the Magic Kingdom. While I can't predict whether or not the parks will fill to capacity, I can suggest that you arrive as early as you can on either of those days.
If a theme park closes due to capacity, no additional guests can be admitted, regardless of whether you have a dining reservation or you are a resort guest. Notice of a theme park closing will be given to the members of Walt Disney World transportation, and word quickly spreads among the guests so you have the option to make alternative arrangements. I would still try to get into the Magic Kingdom when you arrive. You can ask when you check in if they have heard that the park has closed, and then check again at the bus stop or monorail. Think happy thoughts! Good luck and have a wonderful vacation!
Visit Walt Disney World Resort to explore the magic.
