Hi, Amy! I'm so glad someone asked a question about maps!! One of the neatest things available for free from the Walt Disney World website are customized maps! The maps let you choose the things you want to do, and highlight them on the map for you, so when they arrive at your home, you'll have a good idea of where to go and what to do. Oh, and they make awesome souvenirs!
For your free customized map, you just have to visit
Disney World Customized Maps to get started! And if you choose not to order ahead of time, all of the theme park maps are available at the front desk when you check in at your resort.
With a group this size, I might suggest two days is a good way to see the Magic Kingdom without stressing anyone out. When I split my days like this, I try to save some of the must see attractions for day two, so we all have something to look forward to. Other ways I've split the days are by doing all of our favorite attractions one day, then the next day, we dedicate to the shows, parade, fireworks, and whatever else we didn't fit into day one. With little ones, you might also want to consider doing most of your must do things in the morning so you can give them a break in the afternoon for napping or pool time.
Have a wonderful vacation!
