Hiya, Andrea!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your DAS question! Oh boy, your trip is just around the corner—before you know it, you’ll be strolling down Main Street in Magic Kingdom, listening to the Dapper Dans sing a familiar tune with the smell of fresh popcorn filling the air.
Now, let’s hop right into your
DAS question. Since you’ve already completed your DAS interview and your child has been approved, you’ll be happy to know that the DAS tile will magically appear in your
My Disney Experience app once your child taps into their first park of the trip with a valid admission.
If you don’t see the DAS tile pop up right away, don’t worry! Just tap the ≡ icon at the bottom right of the screen and select the DAS button to set your return time. And here’s a little Pixie Dust Pro Tip—anyone in your DAS party can choose a return time, but your child with the DAS pass must be riding the attraction for it to be valid. Also, keep in mind that DAS is
valid for the length of your ticket or up to 240 days (if you’re an Annual Passholder).
Pro Tip: While you’re visiting, I highly recommend checking out the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival! It’s truly such a fantastic festival packed with pixie dust in every corner, from breathtaking topiaries to fresh outdoor kitchens serving delicious fresh bites, it is a festival to remember. Also, don’t forget to visit the Butterfly Garden—my daughters could spend all day there, watching the butterflies dance around like they’re in their very own Disney fairytale! Once, a butterfly landed right on my daughter’s shoulder, and now she repeatedly tries to recreate that memory.
Andrea, I hope this helps answer your question! If you need any additional help, feel free to visit us anytime. Wishing you a practically perfect trip filled with pixie dust and magical moments.
See you real soon,
Christina
