Hiya, Skyye!
Thank you for visiting planDisney with your DAS question. Oh boy! It looks like you’re a few days away from arriving at The Most Magical Place on Earth—how exciting! There’s truly nothing like experiencing Disney through the eyes of our little Mouseketeers—it’s truly magical.
Now, let’s talk about your
DAS question! From my experience,
Rider Switch works the same way when using DAS. One group waits in the DAS-designated queue with the DAS user, while the second group waits outside the queue. Once the first group enjoys the attraction, the waiting guests can ride without standing in the standard line. If your son wants to ride again, he absolutely can—but it’s completely up to him! The only requirement is that he rides with the first group. So, no worries, he won't be forced to ride twice if he doesn't want to.
When you arrive at
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, just let a friendly Cast Member know you’ll be using DAS along with Rider Switch. Your son (as the DAS user) will need to be in the first riding group, and the Cast Member will scan the
MagicBands of those in the second group so they can ride once the first group returns.
Since you’re traveling with a little one, I highly recommend stopping by the
Baby Care Centers. These are in each of the four theme parks and can be located on your map in the
My Disney Experience app. These were a lifesaver when my daughters were little! They’re air-conditioned and have plenty of changing tables, highchairs, comfy recliners, and even a kitchenette with a microwave and sinks. It’s the perfect place to take a break and escape the Florida heat for a bit, making your trip more comfortable and enjoyable.
I hope this helps, Skyye! If you have any additional questions, feel free to visit us again.
See you real soon!
