I am interested in taking 1 of the many cruise's, but there are 6 in the party(2 adults and 4 kids). Would we need 2 rooms, my husband and I would not like to be split up? How does this work?

Welcome aboard, Misti! I'm excited to hear that your family is considering a cruise with Disney! Both your children and your husband and yourself will have so many opportunities to enjoy activities and events that are just your style onboard any of Disney's four ships. I love that there are so many offerings for not only the kiddos, but for adults as well! It's truly a vacation for everyone!

All four of Disney's ships offer some connecting staterooms. I suggest that you take a look at the Cruise Planning page of Disney's website, decide on the month and ship you'd like to sail, based on your schedule and budget. Plan on pricing out two staterooms. Then, give Disney Cruise Line a call at 800-951-3532. The agents there will be happy to assist you in booking two adjoining staterooms for your family so that you can be together with a door that opens between your rooms. Technically, your name will be on one stateroom and your husband's on the other, but since they adjoin, you can arrange sleeping spaces for everyone however you'd like, as you'll all be together. Whether you book inside, oceanview or verandah staterooms, I'm sure you'll be able to find the ones that are perfect for your family. A plus to two adjoining verandah staterooms is that on the Dream, Fantasy and Magic, most of the verandah dividers are able to be folded back when guests have adjoining rooms, allowing your family to create one larger verandah and have another entrance to the next stateroom, besides the inside door connecting them. We've done this with extended family sometimes and it's been great!

I hope that helps as you continue planning your cruise, Misti. Please stop back and let me know if I can help with anything else before you set sail! Happy planning!
