Hello! I am interested in signing up for the VIP tour for my family is the full amount due when the reservation is made? We will be making the reservation 60 days ahead of time.

Hi Caitlyn, and welcome to planDisney! As Mickey would say, “Hot dog!” It sounds like you’re planning an amazing trip this summer. I’m so excited to help you!

Booking a Disney Private VIP Tour is truly one of the most magical ways to experience Walt Disney World Resort. VIP Tour Guides are expertly trained and full of insider tips to make sure your day is practically perfect in every way. Clad in their iconic plaid outfits, these Cast Members will work closely with you to create a custom itinerary tailored to your family’s interests and must-dos. Before your tour day, it’s helpful to have a list of your top priorities such as what’s most important to experience and what would be a bonus if time allows. Your guide will help you map out the day with expert suggestions on the best times to visit each attraction to make the most of your time.

Now, to your question: No, you do not need to pay the full amount when you make the reservation. When you book your tour, you’ll provide a credit card to secure the reservation, but payment isn’t charged until 24 hours before your tour date. While always subject to change, VIP Tours are priced hourly, ranging from $450 to $900 per hour, depending on the season, with a 7-hour minimum. If you decide during your tour that you’d like to extend the magic, you can add up to 3 extra hours, and any additional time will simply be charged to the card on file after your tour.

You can book a VIP Tour up to 60 days in advance by calling Disney’s VIP Tour Services. If you’re staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you can book 60 days before your Resort check-in date for your entire stay (subject to availability). When booking, be sure to have the names of all Guests and the ages of any children in your party. Tours accommodate up to 10 Guests per guide.

One of the biggest perks of a VIP Tour is the access to Lightning Lane entrances for attractions. You’ll also have private transportation; your guide will pick you up directly from your Disney Resort hotel and chauffeur you between parks, including backstage entrances that help you avoid crowds.

Also, VIP Tours often include special reserved viewing areas for parades and fireworks! If seeing a nighttime spectacular is part of your dream day, let your guide know early so they can help you plan your hours accordingly (you’ll want your tour to end around fireworks time, usually between 8:30 PM and 9:00 PM).

    A few helpful reminders:
•Valid theme park admission is required for each Guest and is not included in the tour price.
•Meals are not included, although your guide can help you plan food breaks around your day.

I hope this helps you feel even more excited, Caitlyn! You’re in for a truly unforgettable experience. If you think of any more questions while you’re planning, feel free to reach out again. We love helping Guests create magical memories!

Wishing you a practically perfect adventure,

    Eean
