    I am interested in purchasing annual passes for my boyfriend and I. Do the passes go in to effect as soon as I purchase them or the first time we use them? We also usually book dining/room/ticket packages. Would we no longer be able to do that?

    Congratulations on becoming a Walt Disney World Annual Passholder! In addition to gaining access to four amazing parks, you are also entitled to a variety of perks! Walt Disney World Annual Passholders receive benefits such as discounts on merchandise and dining, complimentary standard theme park parking, complimentary MagicBands, and much more! I would highly recommend checking out the Passholder Extras web page for a breakdown of some of the offerings that are now available for you and your boyfriend.

    Walt Disney World Annual Passes go into effect on the day you activate them, not on the date that you purchase them. In order to use your Walt Disney World Annual Passes, you will need to stop by any theme park ticket window or Guest Relations location to have theme activated! 

    Generally, there are Special Offers on Disney Resort hotel rooms specifically for Walt Disney World Annual Passholders! These offers are only for the room portion of your vacation but you can always add the Disney Dining Plan once you've made your reservation! You can do this by calling (407) 939-5277 and requesting that the Disney Dining Plan be added to your previously established booking.
