Ahoy there, Jodi, and welcome aboard planDisney!
How exciting to already be considering a Disney Cruise Line vacation to ring in the next new year! Having sailed on the
Disney Wish during a
Halloween on the High Seas cruise, I understand why you would like to celebrate a holiday with Captain Minnie. A
Very Merrytime Cruise is on my
wish list, too.
Jodi, I checked the itinerary for
January 2-5, 2024, 3-Night Bahamian Cruise from Port Canaveralon the Disney Wish and see that it is indeed not designated as a Very Merrytime Cruise. The last Disney Wish Very Merrytime Cruise sets sail from
December 22-26, 2023. With that timing, my hunch is that the gorgeous Grand Hall and other areas of the ship will be back to their usual splendor, which is completely amazing, by January 2.
If selecting a cruise vacation date in December isn’t an option but the holiday vibe is important to you, Jodi, I wonder if you could create some holiday magic of your own by
decorating your stateroom door. I am always impressed by the door decorations that fellow cruisers display! The other words of encouragement I would offer is that after 3 days on the Wish, there were still so many areas of the ship that we didn’t have the chance to explore not to mention the variety of entertainment we didn’t get to experience. There really is
so much to see and experience that I’m certain that you will have a fantastic vacation aboard the Wish no matter when you sail.
Jodi, as you continue planning your
Disney Cruise Line vacation, I hope you will cruise back by planDisney and allow our cruise experts,
Tracie and
Adrianna, to assist you further!
Wishing you smooth sailing,
Shannon
