Hi, Samantha! This is such a great question, so I am glad stopped by to chat with us today. My daughters have been going to the
Wonderland Tea Party for years. They love to join Alice and the Mad Hatter for a spot of tea during our visits. It is such a delightful way to spend the afternoon and I think your daughter will have a blast. I know that some children do have issues occasionally with separating from their parents, so I understand your worry. At this time, parents are not allowed to attend the party. The first time that my younger daughter went to this event, she hid behind my legs and was a bit anxious about leaving. However, the Cast Members that head this up are SO wonderful and immediately began engaging her in some of the crafts they had set up outside 1900 Park Fare. I hung around for a few minutes before departing for my reservation at the
Garden View Tea Room, but there really was not any need because she was having fun with her new friends.
When you check-in your daughter for the party, they will take your mobile phone number just in case they need to contact you. If by chance your daughter decides this just isn't her year to party with Alice in Wonderland and the Mad Hatter, the Cast Members will discuss the options with you. I do know of one instance when we were in attendance that a little one chose to not play that day and they were able to refund the cost.
If you think that your daughter really will end up not wanting to leave you, then you may want to consider breakfast at 1900 Park Fare for the whole family. Alice in Wonderland and the Mad Hatter are frequently entertaining friends at this
Supercalifragilistic Breakfast, so it may be a good introduction to them for her! I hope this information helps you plan a wonderful Wonderland day for your little one. Thanks so much for stopping by with your question and please let us know if you have any others!
