Hello! I am interested in diving at Epcot next month. Do you need admission to the park to do the dive?

    Hello there, Amber!

Welcome to planDisney and thanks for dropping by with a phenomenal Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question. I'm thrilled to hear you're planning to visit EPCOT next month - it's my favorite theme park to visit, no matter what time of year! From the colorful EPCOT International Festival of the Arts (happening now!) to the nostalgic EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays and every day in between, there's so much to see and do at this thrilling theme park.

Amber, it sounds like you're interested in EPCOT Seas Adventures – DiveQuest at The Seas with Nemo & Friends Pavilion. This Enchanted Extras Collection offering is on my personal "bucket list," offering SCUBA-certified Guests the opportunity to dive among sea life in the 5.7-million-gallon saltwater aquarium they call home! I chatted with a helpful Cast Member who confirmed that theme park admission is required for Guests hoping to participate in EPCOT Seas Adventures - DiveQuest. To book this Enchanted Extras Collection experience, you can make a reservation on the Walt Disney World Resort website, in the My Disney Experience mobile app, or by calling the Tours, Recreation phone line. Amber, Enchanted Extras Collection offerings can be reserved up to 60 days in advance, so you're in your booking window now! I encourage you to book as soon as possible to ensure you can experience this incredible Disney dive.

EPCOT Seas Adventures - DiveQuest is reserved for Guests who are SCUBA-certified, Amber. Therefore, you'll need to provide proof of SCUBA certification in order to participate. I recommend bringing a hard or electronic copy of your certification with you to the experience so the Cast Members can confirm you are safely able to participate! Also, you'll need to bring a bathing suit with you on dive day. You'll be able to change in a locker room and will be provided with all the amenities and comforts of home, like towels, hair products, and hair dryers so you can jump right back into your day at EPCOT after your dive! You'll also be provided with a wetsuit and all diving equipment to be used during the experience, so feel free to leave your gear at home. However, if preferred, you are welcome to bring your own dive mask.

Amber, I hope you've found these details helpful as you prepare for your undersea journey! I wish you a thrilling theme park day and a delightful diving experience. If you have any additional questions before or during your day at EPCOT, feel free to revisit us at planDisney anytime. We're here to help you make magical memories!

    SEA ya real soon,

    Lauren
