    We are interested in the Characters in flight attraction and we have a 2 year old child. I did not see a price for her age range. Is she free or not allowed in the balloon?

    I rode on the Characters in Flight balloon for the first time earlier this week. The ride is very gentle and we had spectacular views of the entire WDW area.

    Small children are allowed on the balloon. There is no charge for children under the age of three. You should be aware that the "basket" of the balloon is opaque and goes up to about hip height on an adult. If you want your child to be able to see the sights, you're going to have to hold him or her during the flight. The flight lasts about 10-15 minutes depending on the weather conditions and other factors.
