We are interested in booking a 7 day Caribbean Cruise. We have a 15 year old boy. We went on one when he was 4 and is very hesitant about the cruise being "too boring" for him. He loves gaming but needs some convincing. Can you help?

Welcome aboard, Sefany! Your son will not be bored! It's actually impossible. My teenage daughter will tell you that she has 500 times more fun onboard as a teen than she ever did as you much younger child. We've been sailing with Disney since she was four, so this is saying a lot!

Did you know that teens onboard have their own space (no parents allowed!) called Vibe? I have to admit I'm kind of jealous of this cool spot the teens get. Counselors there lead them in all sorts of cool activities geared toward their age group. They have their own smoothie bar in there, and on the Dream and Fantasy, their own outdoor deck and splash pool. What?!?! I never got to vacation like that when I was a teen. My daughter always meets new friends and spends lots of time not only in the club with them but out exploring the ship too. At Castaway Cay, teens even have their own private beach club area!

So, your son is into gaming? Well, there's a huge gaming console in Vibe, so he and his new buddies can join up to play anytime they'd like! I bet you don't have a 103" gaming screen with surround sound at your house. Well, they do on the Fantasy and Dream in Vibe. That is not boring! Karaoke competitions, video game challenges, dance parties, scavenger hunts around the ship, gaga ball, animation activities, Star Wars Jedi challenges, mini golf outings, sports deck time, and movie making which they'll premiere together at the end of the cruise. Those are just a few of the teen activities going on all day and late into the night. He'll be begging you to book another Disney Cruise Line vacation by the time you depart, Sefany!

Please swing by again with any other questions, especially from your son! I'm happy to help! You are in for a magical adventure together!
