Ahoy there, Theresa,
Welcome aboard planDisney! Do you know what’s better than one
Disney Cruise Line vacation? TWO
consecutive Disney Cruise Line vacations!
I am happy to tell you that your dream to cruise on back-to-back cruises is possible. To find the cruises you wish to sail, head to the
Plan a Cruise tab and search for the
Departure Port and dates you hope to travel. Many cruise itineraries are available for consecutive sailings, though the Passenger Vessel Services Act prohibits the transport of passengers from one U.S. port to another without calling in a foreign distant port, so there are just a few cruises that do not provide back-to-back options.
If you book early enough, you will have the option of selecting the same stateroom for both cruises. In this case, you should be able to leave your belongings in your room while you step off the ship for it to be cleared by local port authorities. If you prefer, you can experience a different deck or stateroom configuration on each of the cruises. In this case, you will pack your luggage and leave them in your first stateroom and your Stateroom Host will move it to your new stateroom. Once you're onboard the ship, you will receive information about debarkation for your first cruise and embarkation for your second cruise.
I recommend you contact a friendly
Disney Cruise Line Vacation Planning Specialist to help you book your cruises or contact a specialist after
booking online and ask that it be noted in your reservations that you are on consecutive cruises. Since consecutive cruises are two separate reservations, be aware that the deposit is due on each reservation when booking.
Theresa, have you heard the news about the newest ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet, the
Disney Treasure? This ship looks as magical as can be and is scheduled to set sail in late 2024! If you can wait that long, it would be the perfect ship to sail back-to-back!
I hope this information helps you as you wonder about your Disney Cruise Line vacation fantasy! Please sail back by if you have other questions.
Wishing you smooth sailing and magical memories,
Shannon
