Family running through Cinderella Castle; Magic Kingdom; multigenerational

    I am interested in booking a Capture Your Moment package at Magic Kingdom, but it says maximum group size is 8. I have a family of 9 with 5 adults and 4 kids. Is there an option for us?

    Hi there Kelly, we're so glad to have you here at planDisney!

    Booking a Capture Your Moment session in Magic Kingdom Park ending up being such an excellent experience for us that I'll always recommend to anyone who asks, and it's great to see that you're already planning well in advance for your next family trip together. As you know, the maximum party size for each of these sessions is 8 and being just one additional family member over that limit, here's where you might have to get a bit creative with your booking:

    • In the past, planDisney Panelist Kate was able to accommodate her larger party size by booking two sessions back-to-back; in this way you may be able to switch around your party members so that some of you are assigned to each session. Policies are subject to change without prior notice and may be at the discretion of Cast Members and their leaders, so you might want to head over to the Liberty Square Ticket Office next to The Hall of Presidents (the location where you currently check in for Magic Kingdom Park sessions) just to speak with the photographers and let them know what you have in mind, in case they have any additional insight for you on how to best make this happen. Either way, I always recommend booking more than one session at a time with one directly following the other, simply for the extra time and variety of shots you'll have in the end!
    • This is one of those opportunities to purchase Memory Maker and really make the most of it; after our sessions we had so many photos to choose from that were all ready for us to download soon after we had finished and you'll really only need one purchased in order to share these shots with the family. Another way that you can really take advantage of the unlimited downloads that come with having Memory Maker is heading to the Disney PhotoPass Studio located in Disney Springs, where you can really make use of their backdrops and props for your family shots!
