My insurance agent said that park hopper passes are a waste? What are the pros and cons? We r considering WDW for 6 days and Sea World for 3, add more to WDW and cut back SW? 1st timer so clueless. May not be able to revisit for several years to come!

Hi Bridget!  Thanks for the great question and here is my suggestion.  In my opinion the park hopper is worth every single penny.  With this option you are able to visit more than one park each day and without it you are not.  Especially since you are staying for at least 6 days, I think you will be surprised how by day 4 you may start at one park in the morning but find yourself wanting to catch the fireworks at another park.  With a hopper option, this is not a problem.  On only one trip did I not purchase a hopper pass, I learned my lesson and never did it again.  As far as Sea World, it's great, we love it!  But it will definitely not take 3 days to do Sea World.  We always see absolutely everything there in one day.
If it were me I would take that extra day or two and add it to your Disney days!  I hope this helps and that you have a wonderful WDW vacation.
