Instead of doing an autograph book for the characters to sign, I bought picture frame mattes. Any ideas to easily transport these or prevent them from bending? Or do you have other ideas to transfer the signatures to the mattes?

This is such a cute idea and a great way to display those fun photos you'll be taking during your trip. There are any number of sturdy folders you could purchase at your local office supply store that would work fine for transport of your mattes. However, I would actually keep the mattes in the photo frames themselves with the glass removed (and left home). That way the characters would have a sturdy surface to lean on while they're signing and the corners of the mattes would be fully protected. You'll want to make sure you have a few large ziploc or other plastic bags on hand to protect your project on water-related attractions.
