Ahoy, Amarnath!
Welcome to planDisney! In just a few days, you'll be starting the month of April on a Disney Cruise! Woo hoo! I know you can't wait to feel the warmth on your face and the ocean breeze after some very cold winter days. It won't be long now!
Amarnath, I reached out to Disney Cruise Line to check on the camera you want to bring on board this week, and I have some good news. Both the Insta360 and its invisible selfie stick are permitted. After doing a little research on this device, I can only imagine what cool images and videos you'll capture of your favorite
Disney characters, the ship, and the ports of call you'll visit. I know the pictures and videos I have from my Disney Cruise Line vacations are always my favorite souvenirs. Although you'll have your Insta360 with you, be sure to also take advantage of the
Shutters photographers who will be available from the time you enter the cruise terminal to that last night onboard. There are always some fun backdrops, props, and magic shots that you can't get anywhere else but on a Disney ship. If you pre-purchase your cruise photo package before you set sail, you'll also save a little on the cost. These photos can be viewed at the photo kiosks, on your stateroom TV, and on the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app.
As you continue to prepare to embark later this week, be sure to check the Disney Cruise Line recommended
packing list so you don't forget anything at home. And be sure to leave some room in your suitcase for your purchases from the onboard
merchandise shops. If something catches your eye, I always suggest getting it then because you never know if it will be there when you return. I've missed out a few times for not following my own advice!
Have the most magical time on your Disney Cruise, Amarnath! Thank you again for sailing by with your question.
Nancy
