Greetings, Sandie, and welcome to planDisney, where we help guests to infinity and beyond! You're among fellow planners here at Star Command, so I'm happy to help you work out the details of your upcoming visit to
Disneyland Resort in a few months. I'm also a camper, so your plan to have an RV is out of this world. Let's see where you can park your starship while enjoying the theme parks!
With the
Inspire Key, standard
parking fees are included, but oversized vehicles cost a little more to park. I spoke to a friendly Cast Member who said that you will probably be required to pay the price difference at the parking gate. She said to let the Cast Member know you have the Inspire Key when you arrive at the parking area, and they will determine your cost based on factors like the size of your RV and seasonality. Follow signs to the
Toy Story Parking Area, where you will be directed to spots that will accommodate RVs. Remember, no overnight parking is allowed on Disneyland Resort property, but you can leave your RV parked there all day.
Sandie, we should get details in the coming weeks about
Oogie Boogie Bash, the annual Halloween party at
Disney California Adventure Park. This separately-ticketed after-hours event typically takes place during the dates of your visit, and Magic Key holders often have special offerings during this party. Tickets go quickly, so keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for announcements. Even if you don't attend the party, check out my favorite attraction,
Haunted Mansion Holiday, which is scheduled to get its Nightmare Before Christmas overlay in the fall.
I hope your upcoming visit is magical, Sandie!
Stop by planDisney anytime because you've got a friend in me!
Magic awaits,
